St. Christina School offers junior band for fourth grade and senior band for fifth through eighth grade. Mr. Ken Stiak, who is a very enthusiastic band teacher, gives lessons before school and during the school day. Band concerts are held at Christmas time and in the spring, and the band even plays at halftime at some of the Marist High School football games.

  Our band has opportunities to compete, as well. At press time, band members were looking forward to the Marist High School solo contest on Saturday, January 30th, at which they compete for superior, excellent, or gold awards. At last year's contest, out of fifteen of our students who competed, thirteen band members earned superior and two earned excellent!
